Who is responsible

Crossword Craft: Discovery is provided by DoubleG Arts. This policy explains the privacy practices of the current game and how to contact us. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@doublegarts.eu.

The current game

The current version is a free, offline-first crossword game. It does not require an account, and it has no advertising, analytics SDK, in-app purchases, or developer-operated cloud synchronization. We do not collect or upload your gameplay, advertising identifier, contacts, location, photos, microphone recordings, or other personal information through the game.

Data stored on your device

Completed levels, partial answers, hint usage, and puzzles or campaign names you create are saved locally so you can continue playing. These records are not sent to DoubleG Arts. Avoid putting sensitive personal information in your own clues or campaign names.

Your operating system may back up or restore local app data according to your device settings. Apple and Google manage those services under their own policies; we do not operate or access that backup service.

Legal pages and external links

The privacy policy and terms shown inside the game are bundled HTML documents rendered in webviews. Reading these bundled documents does not contact a web server and does not run advertising or analytics code.

If you choose to open the public website in your browser, the website and its hosting provider receive ordinary request information, which may include your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and time of access. This information is used to deliver and secure the website, not to profile you for advertising. Other websites you choose to open apply their own privacy policies.

Support messages

If you voluntarily email us, we receive the message and the contact information you include. We use it to respond to your request and maintain necessary support records, not for advertising. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive information.

Sharing and security

We do not sell personal information or share game data with advertising networks. The current app has no third-party advertising or tracking integration. Website hosting and email providers may process information necessary to deliver those services.

Local information is protected by your device and operating-system security. We use HTTPS for the public website. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention, deletion, and choices

Local saves remain on your device until removed, replaced, or deleted through your operating system. Uninstalling or clearing app data may remove local progress and custom puzzles; operating-system backups may persist according to your settings.

Support messages and website security records are retained only as necessary for their purpose and applicable legal obligations. You may contact contact@doublegarts.eu to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided to us. Where applicable law provides additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability, or a complaint to a supervisory authority, those rights remain available.

Children

The game does not ask children to provide personal information and does not include accounts, chat, behavioral advertising, or purchases in its current version. Parents or guardians should supervise use of external websites and email. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address the request.

Planned advertising and purchases

Google advertising and optional in-app purchases are planned for a later version. They are not active in the current game. Before introducing them, we will update this policy and the store privacy disclosures to describe the actual providers, data practices, choices, and any consent required by law or platform rules.

Changes and contact

We will publish updates at https://doublegarts.com/games/crosswordcraft/privacy-policy and update the effective date. The bundled document applies to the app version it accompanies. You can open the public page to read the latest version.
